Our goal at Gaming Pathways is to provide students with the community and resources needed to be successful in the gaming industry.
We have worked with and hosted several events throughout the years, including our Unreleased Games Arcade, to provide our students with connections to local developers and industry professionals.
And we have offered several courses such as: Intro to Game Design, Programming in Unity, Narrative Design, Level Design, Game Studio Production, etc. #ccny #gamedeveloper #indiedeveloper
Back in 2022, Gaming Pathways collaborated with @hgs_ny to ask their students several questions about how important gaming was in their lives.
They spoke about how video games helped them learn valuable skills, develop their own social communities, and overcome tough challenges in their lives.
We also took this time to show them how gaming and education can go hand-in-hand to transform their passions into fulfilling careers.

Saturday March 16, Gaming Pathways hosted its 2nd annual Unreleased Games Arcade at #CCNY, bringing together high school #game design students, local college developers, and indie game studios. Students playtested upcoming titles, providing valuable feedback to creators.

Exciting times for gaming enthusiasts! This past month, 42 high school students involved in the Gaming Pathways program visited Microsoft Offices to learn from XBOX NYC staff about careers in gaming. Potential jobs covered by the Xbox team included social impact, digital marketing, software engineering, cloud gaming, content design and more.
Earlier, in November, College students studying game design at both CCNY and HOSTOS received an exclusive invite to the Microsoft Experience Center for an event featuring lectures by ID@Xbox, including a special address from Mayor Eric Adams! 🎤🌟
